Most W3C Chapters have a direct relationship with one of the W3C Host organizations. If a Chapter is guided by another Chapter, its primary relationship would be with that lead-Chapter.

Apply to become a W3C Chapter

To become a W3C Chapter, you need to review the information on the Activities and Roles pages. They outline the requirements for being a Chapter. If you are interested in becoming a W3C Chapter please contact J. Alan Bird, W3C Global Business Development Leader.

Some W3C Chapters may choose to do Member Recruiting via a designated Evangelist, and/or have an agreed upon plan with the W3C Global Business Development Leader to establish additional Chapters.
